Everything is coming together nicely. Just got my business cards in, they look great. I think a buddy of mine and I might go busking outside of the Outkast show this weekend so keep an eye out for us! If you wind up taking any pictures of us please send them to me!
This weekend was quite a busy one! Saturday some friends and I made an appearance at the Jazzoo 2014 event at Zoo Atlanta. There were over 30 restaurants there, people painting faces, bands, and of course some friends and I spinning our flow props and fire toys. It was a great event and I would highly encourage anyone who has yet to go to check it out next year. Some pictures of us spinning at the event are below. They were taken by Damn Redhead Photography and the entire album can be viewed here.
On Sunday my friend Heath came by to do an interview with me. He is currently interviewing people to try to help give perspectives to how other people think. Once the footage is edited and uploaded I'll post a link somewhere around here! He also just launched his new website which is seeking to address issues and give a platform to concerns, ideas, community, and solutions. His site can be found by visiting www.newrule.org
In the process of making this site, I've written a lot about my ideas. Ultimately trying to narrow down exactly what you want to say and how you want to present yourself is a fairly difficult task. Some of the things I've written are below, and I didn't want to just throw them away. I think they're important but they don't seem to really "fit" anywhere. So without further ado, here are two random snippets from inside the mind of Bobby Taylor!!
My vision is actually quite simple. I want to change the world for the better. You may be asking, "But how?" Well, I want to enable, empower, and encourage individuals, communities, and small businesses to be as wildly successful as they can be. I define success as being able to do what you love to do and getting paid to do it.
I believe we have enough “leaders” in the world. So what does the world need then? I believe we need more “enablers”! I think enablers are those that teach and provide others with skills and abilities; individuals that share knowledge and experience with a focus on empowering others to do the same. To lead through example, with patience, and understanding. People who understand that helping others find their passions will result in people willing to work hard for their passions and never actually "work" a day in their lives.
With my long history of direct work experience in many different fields and industries, I am able to bring to the table a unique and well-rounded set of skills and abilities to solve complex puzzles, identify problem areas, give direction to goals and ideas, motivate and empower others, and much more. I find my main mission in life is to help create more "enablers" and otherwise successful people to make the world a better place for everyone.
